In the US, today’s our Thanksgiving holiday, a celebration constructed on the backs of violence and thievery, but one grounded in the idea of giving thanks.

Today I offer my appreciation for you! I see you out there taking action, giving your time, energy, emotion and hope to making this world better. Every day you inspire me. You give me hope that all is not lost. And you remind me to take one meaningful action each day for my kids’ futures.

I hope your weekend is filled with joy, with giving, and with heaps of thanks.
