I love this! We have had so much rain this year (in the Midwest) and this makes me think about the things I should be doing (should have been doing) to capture some of it. We have well water and during a recent power outage (plenty of those in the Midwest this year, too), we had no access to our water for several days because the pump runs on electricity and we don’t have a generator. I never appreciated water so much than when I didn’t have it. I want to grow some crops next year and am thinking about ways to irrigate.
